Terms of Service

Last updated:

These Terms govern your use of the Phase100 mobile application ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You purchase a licence to use the app; you do not purchase ownership of the app or its content.

2. What you may not do

3. Your content and data

All data you create in the app — workouts, weights, photos, notes — is stored locally on your device and belongs to you. We never receive it (see our Privacy Policy). You are solely responsible for creating backups. Because there is no cloud copy, we cannot recover data lost through device loss, damage, reset, or uninstallation.

4. Purchases

The app is sold as a one-time purchase (and/or a one-time in-app "Pro" unlock) through Google Play. All payments are handled by Google, and refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy. We do not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly.

5. Not medical or professional advice

Important: Phase100 is an educational and tracking tool. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for a doctor, dietitian, or certified trainer. Exercise and dietary programs carry inherent risks. You use the workout, nutrition, fasting, and supplement information at your own risk, and you should consult a qualified professional before starting. See our full Health Disclaimer.

6. Third-party programs and content you add

The app lets you customize workouts, meals, and habits. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any plan, program, or content you enter into the app. Do not input material that infringes another person's copyright or trademark.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders and alarms will always fire (device battery-optimization settings can affect this).

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, for any injury arising from exercise or dietary choices, or for any loss of data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

9. Changes and termination

We may update the app and these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date. We may discontinue the app; because it runs offline, existing installs will keep working, but new downloads or updates may cease.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of your operating jurisdiction as set out in your final version.

11. Contact

Questions? Email support@phase100.app.

Before you publish: fill in your legal entity name, contact email, and the correct governing-law jurisdiction (Section 10). Have a lawyer review the liability and medical sections in particular — for a fitness app they carry real weight. This template is a starting point, not legal advice.
